राजनीति का खेल अभूतपूर्व कभी मै भूतपूर्व तो कभी तुम भूतपूर्व. आज समाचार पत्रों में बंगाल पौर निगम के चुनाव के ‘एक्सिट पोल’ का विवरण देखने को मिला. वामपंथियों और तृणमूल कांग्रेस में कांटे की लड़ाई और कांग्रेस का लगभग सफाया. परम्परागत रूप से टाटा-बिरला विरोधी कामरेड टाटापंथी बन गए और अंत में उन्हें टाटा करके टाटा नरेन्द्र मोदी के अनुगामी बन गए. कृषकों, श्रमिकों, युवाओं और छात्रों को मैदान की राजनीति कराने वाले कामरेडों की ब्रांड राजनीति सिंगूर में ममता छीन ले गई और प्रादेशिक स्तर पर श्री सोमेन मित्र से लेकर श्री सुब्रत मुखर्जी तक को अपने साथ जोड़ कर कांग्रेस को पश्चिम बंगाल में नेत्रत्वविहीन कर डाला. कामरेडों को हाशिए पर रख कर कांग्रेस से गठबंधन कर खुद मंत्री भी बन बैठी और अपने पद का स्तेमाल कांग्रेस को ठिकाने लगाने में भरपूर किया. यानी मियाँ की जूती मियाँ का सर. कुछ इसी तरह की राजनीति महाराष्ट्र में शरद पवार जी ने भी की है. लेकिन ममता सबको पीछे छोड़ गई.
यदि नुक्लियर डील में सरकार बचाने के बाद २५/३० सीटे लोकसभा चुनावों में समाजवादी पार्टी कांग्रेस को दे देती तो उन्हें महाराष्ट्र, मध्यप्रदेश, उत्तराखंड में भी एक-एक सीटें मिलती और समाजवादी पार्टी राष्ट्रीय दल बनता. इसके ४० से कम सांसद और १० से कम केन्द्रीय मंत्री न होते. मायावती की बसपा से कांग्रेस की स्थाई दूरी बन जाती और २०१२ के चुनाव में छोटा पार्टनर बन कर सपा से मिलकर चुनाव लड़ना कांग्रेस की मजबूरी होती. कल्याण विवाद तूल ना पकड़ पाता. लेकिन जिस दल में ‘कोर कमेटी’ का निर्णय सामूहिक ना हो एक व्यक्ति और परिवार का निरंकुश एकाधिकारवाद हो वहां क्या किया जा सकता है? मात्र कम्पूटर, अंग्रेजी और खेतों में ट्रैक्टर के उपयोग का विरोध. भीतर जाकर प्रासंगिक मजबूरी बनकर राजनीति में अपनी बात कैसे चलाते है, इसके कुछ ज्वलंत उदाहरण है, प्रधानमंत्री की इच्छा के विरुद्ध डी.एम्.के. के विवादित मंत्री राजा का संचार मंत्रालय चलाना, रोज हो रहे जनजीवन की मौत के बावजूद कोलकोता से ममता द्वारा रेल मंत्रालय चलाना, आई.पी.एल. के विवाद में कांग्रेसी शशि थरूर की रवानगी और राष्ट्रवादी कंग्रेस कोटे के मंत्री का विवादों के बावजूद टिका रहना. अच्छा ही हुआ महान समाजवादी नेकी करते है और दरिया में डालतें है. समाजवादी प्रवक्ता मोहन ने नुक्लियर डील का सम्पादन का ठीकरा अकेले मेरे सर पर फोड़ा है, इसे मै सहर्ष स्वीकार करता हूँ. चलते-चलते यह भी सूना हूँ कि अमेरिका और मनमोहन सरकार ने मुझे इसके बाबत एक मोटी रकम दी है. पार्टी के वरिष्ट इस रकम का हिसाब भी माँगते है. अब तो आप आगामी राज्यसभा चुनाव में भाई सतीश शर्मा की मदद कर रहे है, किसी ना किसी कांग्रेसी के संपर्क में भी होंगे, पूंछ ले यदि मुझे कुछ कांग्रेसी भुगतान हुआ हो?
तमाम गलतियों के बावजूद पिछले लोकसभा चुनावों के नतीजों में भी समाजवादी पार्टी उत्तर प्रदेश की पार्टी नंबर -१ थी. आज भी राज बब्बर, बेनी प्रसाद वर्मा, एस.पी. बघेल, सलीम शेरवानी, शफीकुर रहमान बर्क, आजम खान साहब और आपका खादिम मै, हम सब इकठ्ठे रहते तो पता नहीं हमारा सियासी मुस्तकबिल क्या होता? अंत में बच गए थे पंडित जनेश्वर मिश्र और ठाकुर अमर सिंह, एक को राम ले गए और दूसरे को रामगोपाल. बात बंगाल से शुरू हुई थी, वहां ममता आगे है और सभी पीछे. ममता चातुर्य से भरी, तत्काल भोग योग से प्रेरित, बहुत जल्दबाजी से काम-काज करने वाली तेज तर्रार नेता है. मुझे लगता है कि आने वाले दिनों में कोलकोता पौर निगम के मेयर मेरे पुराने दोस्त श्री सुब्रत मुखर्जी और मेयर इन काउन्सिल बंगाल समाजवादी पार्टी के पूर्व अध्यक्ष श्री विजय उपाध्याय जरूर होंगे.

It is reported in the media that since Sunday last at least 24 people have died in thunderstorm related incidents in UP. Earlier there were some deaths reported because of bubbunder (the cyclonic effect) in UP again.
All these deaths have gone with out declaration of compensation from the Govt. be the State or Central. This calls for major policy because for the similar incidents one will pay millions of rupees and for few even a single paisa is not available from govt. coffers. In these cases if one looks at the fact sheet it would be noticed that the villagers are involved and especially from the poor class.
Are you willing to do some thing for families of deseased? They will owe their life to you. Come its call for the poor villagers.

Now that Mamata Banerjee has won the local elections in Kolkatta and elsewhere in West Bengal she should look after the state and leave Railway Ministry for someone who can look after the travelling two crores daily. The whole country uses the Railways but the Minister concerned is the least concerned about it. When she was in the NDA government she played the role of a disruptive politician at that time. She gives more headaches to the government she is in than comfort to the passengers. When the two trains collided she did not offer to resign even though Prafull Patel offered to resign when Mangalore crash took place last month. Tweeting minister also had to resign because of the embarrassment caused to the country by his `cattle class’ comment.
