आजकल मन बहुत हल्का है. पहली बार मुंबई में बच्चन जी के घर नहीं रुका. अमूमन भीड़ के कारण होटल का कमरा तो कई बार लिया था लेकिन सोने अमित जी के घर ही जाता था. जया जी काफी बीमार है, कल उनका जन्मदिन भी था. घर जा कर उन्हें बधाई दी, बीमारी का हाल-चाल पूछा और चल दिया. कुछ भी अजीब नहीं लगा.
बैठे ठाले मिल रहे लम्बे चौड़े जन समर्थन के बारे में सोचा तो दिखा कि मेरे साथ गिने चुने एकाध लोगो के अलावा सभी वह लोग खड़े है जिनके लिए मैने कभी कुछ भी नहीं किया. विख्यात दार्शनिक ईश्वर चन्द्र विद्यासागर से किसी ने शिकायत करते हुए किसी व्यक्ति विशेष पर टिपण्णी की तो श्री विद्यासागर जी ने कहा की इस व्यक्ति द्वारा मेरी आलोचना इसलिए असम्भव है कि मैने कभी इसका कोई भला नहीं किया है. श्री मुलायम सिंह का कहना है कि उन्होंने और अखिलेश ने कभी भी मेरे विर्रुध कुछ भी नहीं कहा है. वल्लाह क्या बात और अंदाज है. आपकी पार्टी के मुख्यालय में आपका निर्मित प्रवक्ता, आपके भाई रामगोपाल और बेटे अखिलेश की उपस्थिति में मेरी लानत मलामत करता है और आप फरमाते है कि आप और आपका बेटा चुप है. क्या चुप्पी है, चप्पुओं से चिपकवाने के बाद की चुप्पी.
समाजवादी पार्टी से निष्काशन मेरे जीवन की सबसे बड़ी मुक्ति और मोह से निर्वाण है. दुःख है तो इस बात का कि अपनी पत्नी, परिवार और बच्चो से ज्यादा जिसको मान दिया वह सब कही न कही मेरी मेहनत और प्रतिबद्धता से प्राप्त भौतिक उपलब्धियों के स्थाईत्व की चिंता में रम गए. मेरे स्नेह, अनुराग और समर्पण की भावना से अधिक भौतिकता की प्रासंगिकता और जीवन में प्रारब्ध से प्राप्त भौतिक उपलब्धियां मेरे व्यक्तित्व से बड़ी हो गई और मै बौना हो गया. वो छोटे-छोटे कार्यकर्ता जिन्हें मुझसे कुछ भी नहीं मिला जो संतरी है खड़े हो गए और जिन्हें मैने मंत्री पद से नवाजा, उन्होंने मुह फेर लिया. एकाएक आज मुझे इंदिरा जी की बहुत याद आ रही है. सत्तर के दशक में श्री सिद्धार्थ शंकर राय, श्री डी. के. बरुआ, श्री चंद्रजीत यादव, श्री रजनी पटेल, डॉ कर्ण सिंह और श्री आर.के. मिश्र कांग्रेस के प्रगतिशील खेमे के मजबूत स्तंभों में से थे. इलाहबाद हाईकोर्ट में जस्टिस जगमोहनलाल सिन्हा का निर्णय जब श्री राजनरायण की याचिका पर इंदिरा जी विरुद्ध आया तो संविधान संसोधन कर लोकसभा का कार्यकाल ५ से ६ वर्ष तक करना, आपात स्थिति की घोषणा एवं मिडिया पर सेंसरशिप इत्यादि सभी सुझावों को देने वाले श्री सिद्धार्थ शंकर राय सबसे पहले इंदिरा जी की हार से बदले और उनके खिलाफ गवाही दी. पूरे आपात स्थिति में श्री संजय गाँधी के परिवार नियोजन कार्यक्रम के स्वस्थ मंत्री रहे डॉ कर्ण सिंह भी इंदिरा जी की पराजय के बाद बदल ही नहीं गए बल्कि कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष पद के लिए इंदिरा जी के खिलाफ संगठन का चुनाव भी लड़े. “इंदिरा इज इंडिया” और “इंडिया इज इंदिरा” कहने वाले श्री डी. के. बरुआ, श्री चंद्रजीत यादव और श्री रजनी पटेल की तिकड़ी भी इंदिरा जी की हार के बाद बिल्कुल बदल गई. इसी तिकड़ी के श्री चंद्रजीत यादव की करीबी श्रीमती अम्बिका सोनी जिन्हें दासमुंशी को अपदस्थ कर संजय गाँधी आगे लाये, वह भी बदल गई. इसके पूर्व भी प्रिवी पर्स की समाप्ति और बैंकों के राष्ट्रीयकरण के बाद हुए राष्ट्रपति के चुनाव में जो श्री नीलम संजीव रेड्डी और वी.वी. गिरी के बीच हुआ. भौतिक रूप से जमाए पुरोद्धा जैसे कि कामराज नाडर जी, निजलिंगप्पा जी, अतुल्य घोष जी सभी इंदिरा जी के विरोधी और चंद्रशेखर, रामधन, कृष्णकांत, मोहन धारिया, कुमार मंगलम और दिनेश सिंह जैसे तबके छोटे कद के लोग इंदिरा जी के साथ आए. “कहा राजा भोज कहाँ गंगू तेली”, जब इंदिरा जी की कृपा से बड़े बने लोगों ने कई बार उन्ही की पीठ में खंजर भोंका और उन्हें सीढ़ी बना कर आगे बढ़के चलते बने तो मै कौन हूँ? यह जगबीता इतिहास है और छोटे स्तर पर आपबीत मुझ पर हो रहा है.
जब मेरी मदद से दवा-दारू कराने वाले, मुझसे वित्तीय मदद ले कर चुनाव लड़ने वाले मोहन सिंह प्रवक्ता बनते ही पार्टी के “डान” के इशारे पर मुझे बेशर्म कहे, कूड़ा कहे, मेरे अपने परिवार के लोग मुझे अपमान सहकर कैरिअर बनाने की सलाह दे, आज भी मेरी मदद से प्राप्त मकान में मेरे प्रेम से रह रहे पार्टी अध्यक्ष राज्य सभा सचिवालय को लिखित पत्र मेरे विर्रुध दे और जन्मदिन की मौखिक बधाई देते हुए पूंछे जाने पर मुझे कहें कि आप राज्यसभा या संसदीय समिति की अध्यक्षता क्यूँ छोड़े.क्या कथनी और करनी में कोई भेद न रखने के लिए जाने जाने वाले यह वही मुलायम सिंह जी है या यह कोई और है? इंदिरा जी की याद और उनके द्वारा बनाए लोगो के धोखे ने श्री गोपाल दास नीरज की कविता की यह पंक्ति याद दिला दी, ” और आदमी माल जिसका खाता है, प्यार जिससे पाता है उसके ही सीने में भोंकता कटार है”. अंत में यही संकल्प लेते हुए लेखनी बंद करता हूँ कि,

Hindus have been trampelled and killed since time immemorial. Islam “the religion of peace” came with the invaders like Ghori & Ghazni. The choice for Hindus was to face beheading by sword or to embrace Islam. The courageous died. Others converted to islam. I think at leat 80% of India’s Muslims are those whose forefathers were Hindus. But all this is forgotten after conversion as islam leaves no place for dissent. In last century both Hindus and others have bred like rabbits so we became 110 crore in numbers. The hope i have for Hindus is because it is very difficult to wipe out such a huge number, even if they are meek and self flaggelating. Hindus are the first to denounce themselves and are never agressive thats why they have always been at receiving end in history. For that we should thank BJP to atleast put some spine in Hindu movement (not ashamed to be a Hindu) even if BJP’s leaders are as bad as other leaders.

Kudos to your thoughts thro’ blog, it has definitely helped me to get acquinted with truely realistic side of a ex SP politician. I could never relate myself with SP brand of politics however it was least expected of your closest extended family members not to be standing by your side to provide moral support atleast. Mulayam and parivar showing indifferent attitude towards you is understood as they have done it with lot many people like Kalyan singh, Beni prasad verma, Aazam sahab but same was not expected from Mrs. Jaya Bachhan.
May be at times their personal interests may have sidelined the need to be standing with you when you needed them most.

Aapki bahut si baaten sahi ho sakti hain. Rajniti me aapne kolkata se delhi tak bada safar tay kiya hai. par naahak kyun apnee prashansa ki khatir dusron par kiye ehsaan ka jikr karte hain. Mohan singh ka yadi aapne apne paise se ilaaj karwa diya to isme kya ehsaan hai. Blog par iska jikr karna saabit karta hai ki aap is samay khud me nahi hain. sanyam rakhiye aapka bhi apna kal bahut majboot ho sakta hai. par dusron ki madad karne ke kary ko sarvajanik karna aap jaison ko shobha nahi deta. apko bahut door jaana hai. apne kad ka dhyan rakhen.
