आज मै सुबह कोलकोता पहुंचा. ज्योति बाबू कट्टर वामपंथी थे लेकिन उनके व्यक्तित्व की सहजता और सुगमता कुछ ऐसी थी कि विरोधी भी या तो उनका सम्मान करते थे या उनसे अनुराग रखते थे. विरोधी लोकशाही में दो धुरियों में एक धुरी की भांति होते है, ऐसा उनका मानना था. उनके जाने के साथ भारतीय राजनीति के एक युग का अंत हो गया. एक पत्रकार ने कोलकोता में मुझसे पूंछा, क्या ज्योति बाबू का कोई विकल्प है? मैने उनसे पूछा, क्या महान नायक उत्तम कुमार या महान पार्श्व गायक हेमंत कुमार का कोई विकल्प है? कुछ लोग कालजयी होते है और ज्योति बाबू भी एक कालजयी नेता थे.
हिंदी में ब्लॉग इसलिए लिख रहा हूँ ताकि मेरे नेता मुलायम सिंह खुद पढ़ ले. कम्पूटर में गढ़े और अंगरेजी में लिखे मेरे एक ब्लाग के लेख को लोगो ने उनके परिवार के प्रति मेरे विरोधी सुर का लेख बताया. जबकि परिवार का उल्लेख मैने बहुत ही सकारात्मक तरीके से इस सन्दर्भ में किया था कि नेता जी अंगरेजी की अनिवार्यता के विरुद्ध, हिंदी और भारतीय भाषाओँ के पक्छ्धर है. यदि वह अंगरेजी के विरोधी होते तो संभवतः परिवार के बच्चे विदेश पढ़ने न जाते. लोहिया जी का अंगरेजी के पक्ष में एक लेख है, खोज रहा हूँ, मिला तो जल्द ही ब्लॉग पर डालूँगा. आराम करना, लोगो से मिलना और ब्लॉग लिखना जारी रखूँगा.
रात के १ बजे है, कल वाराणसी क्षत्रिय चेतना रथ को हरी झंडी दिखाने जाना है. राहुल जी ने भोपाल में मेरे बारे में कहा है कि अमर सिंह २५ वर्ष के युवा नहीं है, ठीक ही तो है, मै तो ५४ वर्ष का प्रौढ़ हूँ. कुछ सामाजिक कार्यक्रम मेरे इस्तीफे के पहले के लगे हुए थे, उन्ही को निबटा रहा हूँ. ५४ वर्ष की अब तक की आयु में २० वर्ष मैने नेता जी और दल को दिया है, जीवन के इस मध्यांतर को परिवार को परिवार, मित्रों और शरीर की स्वस्थता को देने का अवसर अब मिला है, इसके लिए अपने नेता को विशेष आभार और धन्यवाद देता हूँ. लेकिन अंत में यह तो कहूँगा ही कि:
“जीवन के सफ़र में राही मिलते है बिछड़ जाने को, और यादे दे जाते है तनहाई में तडपाने को”.

All said and done, and may be there are a zillion reasons to criticise you, but there is one thing, a qulaity that no one in political circle has, and that is to make things possible. I was more than happy and euphoric when you formed UP dev. Council, but unfortunately it stayed only on paper except for ADAG’s power plant which was put on hold later. I admire your ability to make things possible even in the most adverse conditions,but as they say, man is known by the company he keeps, may be you should change your political ideology to the one which is progressive. Even in this blog you subtly mention MSY’s dislike for English, unfortunately, every member of his family in second generation is educated in English, a ligua franca. MSY’s statements against computers and English are not only depressing but also a hinderance to the prgress of society as a whole.

I think Amar Singh has given Mulayam a voice in National Politics. Otherwise he (Mulayam) would not have courage and right english to be heard in New Delhi. SP has lost a credible friend. Mulayam, I think, is quite envious of Rahul`s sucess in UP`s politics and he himself wants his foreign return son to be his right hand man.

I am sorry to take liberty to give uncalled for advice to you but I think now you should stop talking about your Resignation because it was only you who demanded to accept your resignation on the health ground. But from your posture and statement it is appearing that you were playing the pressure politics. Even if you were doing pressure politics you have to take it up calmly and think up on the next strategy. Discussing the incidence again and again shows your emotional weakness. You are in the politics not in the creative field. So behave like a politician. We know you have so many qualities as a politician and human being too.
So if you are doing the pressure politics, strike back hard with acts and not with words and if on health ground you did so than there is no point to discussing the same.

To set of with the recent political development followed with the acceptance of the resignation marked the end of the political unrest.
Long time back, i met you in allahabad while working for Loktantrik congress (Media Manager) & thereafter in Dubai, i wes always under dilemma about the the way your charismatic personality and its acceptance in Samajwadi Party. Really , it was a tough job which person of your stature could only manage.
I often give time for introspection and moved on with your personality and Socialism to an extent that many a times on a verge to join Samajwadi Party. There was a time when in Mumbai at Asim Bhai’s office (colaba)idea triggered again, but something kept holding me back….
Many a people in the society had seen the entire political drama, but somewhere at the back of the mind were sure about the outcome which is evident today .In the light of the political parties being treated as family business, more in the interest of the family than in the state or nation.
It is apparent that the pan India vision , strength & trouble shooter (Sankat Mochan) role you performed for the party is impeccable & outstanding and beyond the capability of the existing people in the party. Moreover, your charismatic personality has overshadowed the other senior leaders making it “one stop solution” for all the problems. It is imperative to mention that only this thing in your personality has been looked on as an envious element in the party by party leaders leading to political factionalism within the party.
It is very rightly said in our society “Jo accha karta hai, wohi sunta hai” was the factor with you. I must say here that it is the bad luck of Samajwadi Party that they had lost a capable party worker like you. It is not required to come out in the public and state what SP is all about, common men are well aware about it. For sure it will be like ” Bina Majhi ke Naon”, for which they will feel the pinch and repent in the future.
Lack of conviction had hold me in joining S.P long time back, but now i must say that your place is still intact in the heart of common man like us. It doesnt matter whether Congress or NCP….You were never alone….common men like us were, are and remain with you always.
I would like to make one last point. A perfect blend of Ideologies & personality make party & pull the crowd not family business & vested, petty political interest of using the people and thereafter accepting the resignation by stating “I dont believe in past, but in futute”. Dont you think it sounds like a shrewed baniya who will grease his goat moustache when only required and didnt pay heed other than that…..but the difference will remain there between goat & lion moustache.

I am a gujarati, lives in usa contribute in Gujarat still proud of my national language. In India everyone should have a right to communicate in whatever language they prefer..No state govt should allow .we are in federal system in India atleast as per my understanding…

My thought suddenly got oriented to this comparison for no greatness in you or your style of politics, but; it is a sheer coincidence that mother india had been enslaved by the politician who can be disloyal to their mentor or even to this country, whether he is V.P.Singh against Rajeev Gandhi,`Chandrashekhar against Smt. Indira Gandhai and finally Amar Singh against Mulayam singh Yadav.
The product of the Toatal Revolution could be utilised by the anti congress philosophy and for the first time in free India the theory of an alternative of Indian National Congress was worked upon successfully at national level but it lived only less than three years and Mrs. Indiara Gandhi’s retrieval to the power was cut short by the betrayers of the mother India.
the genesis of the third front or non congress goverment could be possible by then socialist and communist conglomerates in the indian polity which constituted the karpuri thakur, charan singh, morarji desai , devi lal… and gradually congress had to pay the price of anti people policy and confining within the restrict brand of leadership comprising of the head of small states and ex land lords who were smart enough to embrass the power joining the then the ruling congress party after the jamindari abolition and dissolution of states in federal India.These ex ruler became the important functionary of the party at the state and national level whereas the original congressmen became victime of their modus operandie to either renunciate the politics for ever with heavy heart forced to witness the plight of this country overtaken by the corrupt and opportunist people who had never been the leader of the masses.

The transformation of Mulayam singh ji was attributed to Mr.Amar Singh who had no record of any political journey or leading any massmovement.
Amarsingh was later known by his proximity with bollywood filmstars who obliged him by giving him opportunity of sharing the glamour and hi voltage life style which he adopted and he led the film bandwagon of the entertainment world (including the so called singer or actor of bhojpuri, Mnoj tiwari often seen on the side of Amarsingh Ji).
The socialist movement had never been his first love and he never had been a part of any thing which required struggle and sacrifise.However his so called sacrifies for samajwadi party or his founder leader is beyond understanding by any set of definition or standard.
Sri Amarsingh’s politics is confined to Thakur community and I find no difference in V.P.SINGH, CHANDRASHEKHAR and him as all of them later dumped their mentor to fulfill their long cherished ambition of the highest post of this country.
But the beauty and the most rare element of his personality will ever be remembered in the history for his beautifully marketed stances of his charity for the great sons of this soil like Dhirubhai Ambani and Amitabh Bachchan.
As Amarshingh ji has himself addmited that he followed the path of one way traffic by rescueing Ambanis and Bachchans in their difficult time.
But how a person like Amar singh ji could manage all this is a mystry and a man who had his past of not being financially well off and riding on a bicycle for years (as some body commented in reply ofhis blog) hailing from a most backward district called “Ajamgarh” of Uttar pradesh could manage to do all this, it is a gift of god and the dividend of his “PRARABDH”.
I advise Amarsingh Ji to let this gift be benifited to the poor and diseased and undrprivileged children and women instead of wasting his energy in writing the sarcastic blogs directed against Sri Mulayam Singh Ji and his family.now you should form your own party to be identified beyond your pro Thakur image.
I advise you if you are a real Thakur that you should never bow to a woman called Sonia Gandhi who preferred not to invite a person to the dinner party considering you” unwanted”.It will save BIG B too as he too is the sore of her eye as he too many times lamented to express his pain whenever he was attempted to be implicated in Income tax Notice episode or Land case of Barabanki.
Afterall Sonia Gandhi , Amaitabh Bachhan and Anil Ambani are having the rich legacy and their greatness is not beause of any company or any person.The innocent, a natual non violent and subdued humanity of more than a nbillion population is used to be ruled by the famous and powerful and I advise sri Amarsingh Ji never ever leave any one of them for the same reason.Leaving Mulayam Singh ji at the time when he is in his 70s; will hardly effect his future and one should not forget tht a person having such gifted talent has the capacity to rise to the top post of this country who has suffered slavery for thousand years and her people will easily accept any ruler who can play with their emotion for a promise of giving their two time meal.
