I am Amar Singh, a child of this democracy. Amongst my credentials are the titles of a son, a brother, a husband, a father, an industrialist, a politician and now, a blogger. Conventionally, the age of 53 might not be considered apt to venture out on a new project, but I refuse to believe that. Some revelations come early, some come later. Thus, with this leap to the online society, I finally arrive with the appropriate time and space to debate & discuss, uncut and uncensored.
This venture, being an emotional one, after my recent health hazard had me reminiscing of time spent, about today and a questionable tomorrow. An important moment in my life came in the operating theater, under the effects of anesthesia. I knew what was important, what was essential, where do my duties belong and above all, who my real loved-ones are. More on this after dutifully completing my very own blog’s, very-own introductory post…
My entry into politics has not been an easy effort. And that’s an understatement! Truth be told, I see the similarity in Sri Mulayam Singhji and myself, in our approach to life and work. Neither of us carried a family lineage of politics, we both have risen only through hard work and duty. It certainly isn’t child’s play to achieve in politics something substantial without a safety net, readily available to cushion your fall. But then, some things are better learnt the hard way. Every baby crawls before he walks. After repeated failures, while he may falter, he can walk successfully. I walk my walk and talk my talk and I’ve learned it this way.
Through this blog I hope to add and enter another dimension of communication between both of us. This blog isn’t about Amar Singh, the industrialist or Amar Singh, the politician. My allegiance is to you; the Indian citizen as well as global citizens. This blog is a platform for Amar Singh, the common man, just like all others. Feel free to express yourself here, to interact, to debate; and even to argue. The intention of this blog is to connect…nothing more, nothing less.

Dear Amar Singh Ji,
Welcome to bolgosphere. I think blogging is a very effective way of communicating with the new generation Indians. It is important for us to know what our leaders are thinking. It is also important for us share our views with them. For this two way communication there can be no better medium than the internet.
Wishing you all the best in your new endeavor.

The internet fraternity welcomes you as a leader who wants to be the voice of new age generation of India. No matter how much old you are, as a politician you must be accessible to common man. This platform will provide common man the opportunity to share and express their views with you. It will also help you to understand the people’s opinion more clearly. I think this is the best way to express yourself personally and socially.
Best of luck for new beginning in your life

Dear Amar Sigh,
Can you take some efforts to start new MBA colleges in UP, like, D Y Patil started in Pune. All the north Indian students are taking admissions to these colleges by giving heavy donations & spending the money earned in north to Maharshtra. So to utilise north Indians money for their bettement;please start at least some private colleges in UP with American universities collabration & help to rolling of money in UP only.
Thanking you,
Yours truely,
Shailesh
Dear Sh Amar Singh ji,
Really you are a strong leader of Indian Politics, but at certain level you could not suceed at top level politics, why it happend? In spite of high price hiking in India, congress is growing in states politics,no strong will of oppositions in India to raise this issue at people’s as well as policy level why ?
Amar Singh Ji,
This is adil again from Hyderabad, I am impressed, to feel the zeal and energy in your vibrant personality thru your expression at 53 your venturing in to one another activity to connect with the people of the nation you love, and wish to contribute and raise the bar of mutual contact and develop greater understanding of the issue faced by the nation and its people is remarkable.
Your past is great, it has lessons to learn and experience to support your future.
I see you as great under stander of the issues faced by our political system, and the hurdles in developing our nation a nation with equal opportunity to its advantaged and not so advantaged. Our constitution is supportive and protective of all its citizens belonging to all sections udder its umbrella.
Your effort to develop person to person contact to gather energy and wisdom to do best in this life of ours, is commendable and respected.
You have a very important role to play now on. The country is faced with various kinds of challenges and distractions true but this nation has come a long way since the exit of the white masters who pulled us apart and wedged our soul that the bruises are still unhealed.

Dear amar singh ji,
I started knowing you when i was studying in Kanpur. Then i started following you on new channels and shows where you have always been a strong debater. What you may not know about yourself is that you have a strong fan following not only among your supporters but even those who vote for BSP, CONG, BJP or other. Its not about politics. Many criticize you for being supportive to criminal politics knowingly or unknowingly but what they dont realise is that sometimes one does not yet have the option of choosing to act differently. To run the system one has to be in the system. I wish you will be here for a long time without all the fuss of a politician and will enlighten us with all your wisdom…..
Dear Shri Amar Singh ji,
Wish you health and fame. Hope now that a tall personality will do something for our home town Azamgarh. Will our children remain uneducated and live in an economically and socially backward district. Hope you do something for Azamgarh as Mulamji did for Saifai.
Regards
Alok Singh.
Dear Amar Singh ji,
It is really nice to see your blog. You are really a one of the innovative person, though I am far from India but I do keep watching regular activities of Indian Politics.
It’s really a great landmark from you in the History of Indian Politics, that a leader comes with voice of public and started blogging, so we can proudly say our “TECHIE LEADER AMAR SINGH JI”.
Regards,
Adarsh Bhardwaj from INDONESIA
Dear Mr Amar Sing,
All the best and hope you can really connect with people and understand the pulse and concerns. Most difficult part of yours (if you really cares) is to make understand the majority of illiterate politicians. Our basic flaw is none of these criminals are accountable for anything. we need to create more transperency in politics.
one of my suggestion is, we need to put an evaluation system by independent agencies where they have to show their performance against the election promises (manifesto). All the variances should be published. The only place where the parliment vote unanimously is for the increase in the perks/benefirts of MP’s or MLA’s. In this topic there are no differences between communist, NDA, UPA or minority or majority.
Dear Amar Singh Ji,
I was really very impresed The way had started ur industrialisation process in U.P.During ur era as a chief of utter Pradesh development concil.U really wanted to see U.P.as a developed state. But due tio diffreneces with in Mulayam singh family on this ,U could not achieve ur goal. Now i would request u to kindly tell people in the state that Mayavati is not supporting Industrialisation process in Eastern U.P.She only wants to concentrate her eyes on already developed western U.P.U must be aware that Rahul Gandhi wanted to open one Paper Mill in Jugadishpur Industrial area in Amethi.but Mayavati refused to allot him 600 acres of land.It would had given employment to few thousand people.U should take objection and fight against such moves of U.P.Govt.people of the state should see u as a person who is involved in development orianted politics.
U will definately be in a position to win the hearts of people.Today’s youth want Job.Mayavati Govt .has failed to bring industries in the state.U must highlight such things throgh Newspapers in Hindi and English.U should start a MBA college in Lucknow or anywhere in U.P.with association of Foreign Universities.U have got Money and Fame.If u open an Institute ,u can earn money as well as Fame both.
Finally i would like to request u to please pursue development orianted politics instead of cast orianted politics, which Mulayam singh ji is famous for. This is only reason Samajwadi Party is lagging behind in the state.
Let me put things in perspective without any salutations…
1. Welcome to blogging, age isn’t a factor to do anything, lot of persons are doing that. Would be great if you blog about anything except politics & movies (as blogosphere is already cluttered with it).
2. Naming the blog as ThakurAmarSingh is really stupid, you don’t need to tell the world who you are OR perhaps your intention is to play politics & directed towards a particular section of society.
3. Have no personal qualms about your relationship with anybody (Big B or the young Ambani), your personal matters perhaps media believes in see’ng shady stuff in every party you are invited to (or sometimes un-invited too).
4. Coming to Politics – SP has always cheated muslims in UP and atleast 50% contribution goes to you. Don’t try to be a pseudo-muslim if your party can’t take care of plight of muslim community. Tokenism (iftar parties/using urdu in speeches/visiting mosques etc etc.) has no value in real world. What matters is development and empowerment. Period.
5. Personally I like your filthy-sarcasm specially the comments on political opponents And my comments are not part of any political conspiracy or vendetta as these two words are your personal favorites, m a no-namer for you.
6. 99.9% my comment will be moderated and won’t be published as m sure that a VVVVIP would hardly have 5 mins in day for blogosphere and your “blogging team” would be taking care of the website. Even then worth a try for me to let you know the feelings of common man.
Finally, Wish you and family good health and prosperity in New year. May you put meaningful blogs unlike your political utterances which are just global gyan most of the times
ONLINE BLOG IS A GREAT BOON FOR RULERS FOR SELF CORRECTION<PROPER ASSESSMENT AND TO ARRIVE AT CORRECT COURSE OF ACTION .RELATION BETWEEN THE RULER AND THE RULED IS LIKE RELATION BETWEEN CHILD AND PARENT ,ALSO YOU CAN HAVE MILLION MORE FRIENDS ADVISING ONE 24/7..POLITICIANS SHOULD VOLUNTARILY QUIT POWER POSITION AFTER 10 YEARS OF RULE AND MUST BE PAID HONRARIUM OF 10 CRORES HENCE NOT BE TEMPTED TO ROB THE STATE LIKE CHARA SCAM 6000 CRORES ,MADHU KODA 4000 CRORES AND NOW SHIBU ,ND TIWARI ..ANY ASPIRAMT TO PUBLIC OFFICE MUST HAVE THEIR PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE,BACKGROUND CHECKED ,POLITICIANS TAKE CRORE FOR EACH YEAR SERVED TO THE MAX OF 10 CRORE AND RETIRE TO COMMON LIFE…BETTER STILL ,GOVT OF INDIA MUST ADOPT EVERY CITIZEN AND THUS EXTEND MINIMUM GUARANTEES OF HEALTH CARE ,ONE BEDROOM,PROTECTION OF LIFE AND LIMB AND IN RETURN EVERY INDIAN MUST PAY HONESTLY 10 PERCENT OF THEIR INCOME AS TAX,WE ONLY ARE THOUSAND PATTIS AS DAYS ARE NUMBERED IN THOUSANDS AND NOT IN LAKHS OR CRORES..60 YEAR MEANING APPROXIMATELY 20,000 DAYS…

Namaskar –
Well done Mr. Singh for putting yourself online in this manner. It takes a braveheart to put themselves in the firing line. No doubt abuse will be coming your way as we see frmo above – but you remember what Kabir said when told that his greatest critic had died – ‘who now will make me perfect’. All the best with your effort.
Dear Amar Singh jee,
First I wish you good health and long live.
We are facing so many problems within our country, which are just due to lack of development in many parts of India. We are having so many big politicians, businessman,Actors having crores of Rupees.Do you think we need those enough money, to live with decently? Why don’t we do some thing with those money to help our people live with smile.I Read some time, some individual doing this job without cheap publicity and whole heartedly, they just out to do some thing for their fellow countryman. If the big people are doing then, why the result is not coming out?I just posted this comment,as I think you people can do lot of thing as are having the GIFTED VOICE.

Respected Amar Singh Ji,
Sir, you are well aware about ‘The first Ladder Game’ i.e. nothing but to find the right squares that propel up the ladder most rapidly. The second game is called ‘The Snakes and Ladders Game’. In this game one can do the equivalent of going down, as well as up.
Don’t feel scared like Ramgopal Yadav like leader. They are like the puppet of Mulayam Singh Yadav. What is more, there are a lot more snake heads nearer the top, and a lot further to fall. All players are playing the second game, but most act as if they are in the first. You are the born Leader Sir, Don’t afraid with the so called MULAYAM and their so called well wishers. I know that you are brave, intelligent and vocal but please also remember the Mahabharata Story. The Mahabharata begins with a game, which leads to a war and great suffering before redemption is finally achieved. When Arjuna falter at Kurukshetra, saying that he cannot bring himself to kill his kinfolk in battle, Krishna appears in his cosmic form and enjoins the warrior to go into combat without fear. This holds true not just for war but for all our actions in day-to-day life: engaging in business, pursuing a career, observing the rituals of family and household, or even seeking ‘enlightenment’. Life itself is a mahagame, to be played by established rules or norms of conduct. The ‘purpose’ is not to win or lose; the ‘purpose’ is the game itself, which teaches us detachment. It is about learning to act, within a given set of rules, as if it were for real. Sport is the celebration of dharma. Simon Barnes, possibly one of the best sports writers seems to have intuited this. Barnes has suggested that it is myth that gives meaning to sport. Myth not as in an escape from ‘reality’, but myth as an engagement in a hyper-reality that underlies the everyday world. The great sportsman is a mythic hero (an Arjuna at Kurukshetra). His deeds represent not one-off successes, but form a narrative, an attitude to life and action, which goes far beyond the games field. Play the game. Follow your dharma. Vyas would have agreed. Krishna too. Mahabharat’s scope is best summarized by one quotation: “What is found here may be found elsewhere. What is not found here will not be found elsewhere”.
Mahabharata is not plainly the story of a war or a source of wisdom for philosophers. It exposes the secrets of leadership and the path to success. Mahabharata can be considered equivalent to other management bibles. Whether it is man management, human/organizational behavior, game theory, management by objectives, all aspects of modern management can be discovered in various characters and episodes of the great epic.Bhishma, an honest Manager caught in diametrically opposed clashes, which was forced to take wrong decisions by forces beyond his power. Yudhisthira is a flawless example of managerial acumen. Karna, a Manager who fought his way up the ladder but could not keep up with the pressure and tensions and met a tragic end. Abhimanyu, the son of Arjuna, a daredevil leader without a business-plan of escape. He fought his way into the chakravyuha, but failed to come out and was brutally cornered and killed by Drona and others. Draupadi is the typical model of a woman powerhouse who kept others motivated till the goal is achieved. And Lord Krishna is the ideal example of a leader-manager who kept his eye on the target till the desired outcome was achieved.
In today’s modern management when ethical judgment and importance of recognizing the ethical dimensions is talked about, Mahabharata gives an excellent analogy to identify the ethical boundaries. “Rules of ethical conduct”, Dharmayuddha, for the war were framed by the supreme commanders of each side. Both sides broke most of these laws at least once.
Lord Krishna himself advised the Pandavas that no action can be perfect in an ever-changing dynamic world and hence he casually advocated them to keep the overall ethical standards in view and then act according to the contingency which may require provisional deviation from strict ethics.
For example, Krishna prevails upon Yudhisthira, an honest king, to lie or convey a “half-truth” to psychologically depress Dronacharya. From the complete moralistic standpoint, such a lie may be considered unethical. But as long as such lies contributed to a desirable final outcome – it was acceptable. So the greatest challenge for the modern corporate leader is the modification of these responses keeping in mind the ethical and legal issues but without compromising corporate interests.
The Mahabharata war was gigantic. The stakes were very great, the whole of the land of Bharat was at stake, and every kingdom from the biggest to the smallest brought its armies to either the Pandava or Kaurava side. Every king and army from all over India stood on that battlefield. That one war changed the whole political landscape of India.
This can be simplest example to explain the importance of building a network of relationships and developing a web of influence. If there is a single lesson from the war, it is that competitors must try to find areas of alliance wherever is possible, group their resources for research and development and offer innovative solutions for customer’s money.
Today leaders often lack decision-making power. For example, while preparing for battle, Duryodhana chose Krishna’s large army while Arjuna selected Krishna’s wisdom instead of just the army. In the end, Arjuna emerged as the winner as he had made the right choice after having weighed all the options carefully.
The general management concepts that are portrayed in this particular episode are quite a many. Remembering one’s prime duty no matter what situation one is in (Helping the Brahmin – duty of the Kshatriya), Never underestimate your competitors (Pandavas not heeding to the warning – underestimating the crane), Always learn the rules and meet the terms before entering new game (Answering the questions of Yaksha – respecting the crane in his area of superiority), Being smart thinker, wise and thought leader (Each answer to Yaksha’s question – wisdom and intelligence), Making just decisions without any bias (Choosing Nakul’s life before – Having the right character for judgment).
You are brave-you are like a fighter-you will come up with flying colour, the one thing I like in you is your strength as a CORPORATE POLITICAL LEADER i.e. your asset Sir.

Dear Amar Singh Ji,
I was really very impresed The way had started ur industrialisation process in U.P.During ur era as a chief of utter Pradesh development concil.U really wanted to see U.P.as a developed state.
Dear Amar Singh Ji,
Iwas unable to understand why you acted as leiutinant to Sri Mulayam Singh Ji. You always looked to me more charismatic and dynamic than Mulayam singh. If given opportunity, You could do to UP what the chandra Babu Naidu did for Andhra Pradesh.I can easily imagine how suffocationg it was for you to remain in the conservative party like Samajwadi Party. I suggest you to join hands with NCP for development of UP.
Amarsinghji,
we were knowing you in a different way, but after reading your blog, I found a different soul is living inside, in a Karmyogi person.
